hi everyone

i have been to aruba twice now , the first time we went was on sunday 29th of july , it had just opened the night before , i went with my girlfriend and her friend for sunday lunch , firstly my girlfriends mate has an allergy to peanuts , after asking what had peanuts on the dishes we were told what ones were safe so she chose something 20 mins later our waitress informed us that her order did have peanuts in after all and we had to change the choice she made to steak she ordered this medium rare , after about 30 mins later the steak arrived and it was well done , along with all our orders all getting messed up and taking over 2 hours to eventually get finished as the food took forever to come out , we let this slide as the meal that we eventually got was very nice , and it was there first night aswell so we expected some slip ups , so we went again on tuesday to see if it had got any better , now this time it was even worse, i phoned up and booked a table for 10 to 8 in the evening we got there only to be told that the table was outside , so we thought yeah this will be ok but when we went outside it was getting a bit breezy so we asked to be put inside on a table , they said this would be ok but we might have to wait for a table (even though we could see 4 tables free) we sat for 50 mins waiting for a table all the time asking the waitress if we could sit at the free tables only to be told they were reserved , the whole time we were waiting the tables were free eventually after 50 mins we got sat on one of the free tables , we ordered drinks wich took 30 mins to arrive , and our starters took nearly 50 mins to arrive aswell so in all we had been sat in there for over 2 hours before we had even got sight of our food, we kept asking what was going on only to be fobbed off by the waitress and the receptionist , we eventually asked for the manager , who didnt even bother to come to our table , in the end we got up and left , not before speaking to other diners who told us they had crap service , and had seen others leave because of the same reason , as we left no one even said anything to us about our drinks that we had ordered , i would totally deter anyone going to this restaraunt , the service was terrible and i dont know how the person who owns this resteraunt won an award for west beach if he runs aruba like this its going to be closed within a year , we ended up going to red panda , and getting our meal within 10 mins of getting in there ,
the restaruant looks great and is in a brilliant location but there are too many untrained staff in there , the food takes forever , drinks take just as long to arrive ,


PLEASE DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE , YOU WILL GET TREATED LIKE CRAP AND LEAVE

i can tell you ez/nelson tickets are flying and its seems most people are coming for EZ and the garage. UK garage still has a massive following and ppl from as far as birmingham/kent/london are travelling down just for this...

sounds good then , im not starting any arguments adam, im glad a club has the bollocks to put a uk garage night on down here as its been a long time since anything ukg has been on in bournemouth, i hope they do more nights with some uk garage artists maybe some other clubs would follow suit and get some nights going on as ukg used to massive down here !!!

Right, well - just been there, got back half hour ago - excellent, no complaints. Sounds like a few people have just been unfortunate.

lol! no... although the Parrot ice-cream was tasty.

yeah my girlfriend went the other day and said the place has got loads better , i will be going back aswell as like i said the food was great , i only had problems with the service and it looks like they have sorted it out now

oh my god, went there last night, it was just soooooo terrible i cant tell you, service was appauling, from the girl on reception that was on the phone for what seemed like hours and didnt even acknowlege us, to the bar staff freaking out that we wanted to set up a tab, and the place was EMPTY!!!

thought the food was ok, until the stomach cramps stareted.....actually tasted better on the way back up.....
