Fancy something a little Different???? PHunky presents GUSTO Live
November is one of the 4 months this year with 5 Fridays so that means its PHunky at Po Na Na's...

Its not going to be a night of the 'same ole-same ole' as we proudly present a totally unique small club experience with an awesome collective called GUSTO - A Funky 5 Piece Band which includes DJ, Percussionist, Saxophonist, Lead & bas Guitarists.

GUSTO play House music which is infused with and inspired by Funk, Soul and Disco. Occasionally they shake the things up by reliving an era and provide you with live accompaniment. The team includes a Ministry resident Percussionist, Young Guitar player of the year with a number 13 hit (lead) and a DJ who payed one of the biggest gigs in Norwich as part of Fatboy Slim's Palookaville tour.

GUSTO >>>>- Vigorous and enthusiastic enjoyment.

DJ Stu Braybrooke

Matt Coole on Saxaphone

Papa Nicol on Percussion

Mark on lead Guitar

Chris on Bass Guitar

Strange as it might seem we are giving out around 60 maracus on the following night in Ipswich so that everyone can join in musically. If you do have a percussive instrument then please bring it and help fill the sound out. If you have maracus, Tambourines, spooons anything like that then you are welcome to join in. We aim for the band to be part of the crowd and the crowd part of the band, that's why we don't have stages, just straight on the floor with the dancing crew.

We are being 100% serious about bringing something that makes noise along. Be part of the band be vigorous and enthusiastic, but also be in time with the music.

OMG, I have only just seen this thread and am so excited about the crowd participation on the percussion front…excellent...I will definitely be joining in. I seem to have misplaced my castanets, so will have to borrow a maraca on the night.

Whatever happened to that tambourine we bought you for your birthday that time Danny? I don’t think it ever made it back from Ibiza, did it....?!

Ok I will buy a beer for the person with the most interesting musical instrument. I know a whole beer. That's worth bringing a sitar for.

Gutted - I 'm afraid not. I LOVED that present.... But I'm never good at keeping hold of things on my birthdays - especially my marbles
