I know i'm gutted they didn't get through to the finals but lets face it the way they have been playing they would have been on the first plane home anyway!!

From a positive point of view at least the clubs will be busy this summer because they are always quiet when England are in the Euro/World cup finals!!!!

Don't worry. McLaren has been sacked. I might be in with a chance of taking over. Or me mam might have a go. Either way, we'll do a better job than that prick.

Just a freak night in football. Didnt see any leadership on the pitch from gerrard or lampard.
2 terrible mistakes early on, Great goal from Crouch been our highlight.

Haha - I was going to put that on here and claim it as my own!

Totally agree. Only Lurch played half decent. The thing with me is, I didn't want McLaren in charge in the first place. We should try to find a way of building a robot out of Brian Clough's remains. Someone who isn't afraid to drop players. McLaren tried to make us think he was capable of that by dropping Beckham but look what happened?

Drop Lampard, and don't bother putting Defoe or Bent on - and I'm a Spurs fan. They don't play enough regular first tean football. We missed Terry and Ferdinand at the back. Blah blah blah....

Absolute sham. Thought becks made a great impact when he came on and crouch was awesome but why he waited to half time to change the formation i'll never know. agree wiv u kleef, bring in jose. Lamps can only play when he's wearing a fu*kin blue shirt so if jose can get best out of him and the rest of them then its pretty self explanitary.

i have refused to watch the games since that negative so called manager has been in charge. i was never happy then and not happy now. however one good thing to come from this is the fact they have got shut. Lets get someone managing who has a pair of go-nads. lampard people say has not done it for england well to be fair he is an attackive midfielder so playing defensively as a team is not going to bring the best out of him, self explanatory.

Lamps has been given the chance to go forward and he still couldn't hit a barn door. He's one of many players that needs to be dropped until they start performing again. We've got some of the worlds best midfeilders and they should be battling each other for them roles, not just because they walk out at Stamford Bridge on a Sat afternoon.
