It shouldn't really be a problem, my mate usually books events using her mothers card as she doesn't have one, she's never been questioned on it...they prob only check for refernce numbers and such !

Okay here's the latest. I went into Sa-Kis on Monday to get some tickets. They had at least 15 left, but apparently had had a call telling them not to sell any more. Also Cavendish is supposed to have a load. Luckily I manged to get some sorted, dunno about everyone else though?

So are they just not going to sell the others at all? Hoping to sell loads on the door for more cash, maybe?

well they released more on the internet didnt they, so i can imagine they had to tell everyone else to stop selling there so they could use them for internet sales.

did i hear right that theres gonna be an announcement on the future of gc sheff?

They've never checked card details on the door and lets hope they never do.

I mean who is going to take a credit card to a rave? A few stomps later and its gone and a few hours later so is your money unless yuour lucky! Only thing I take to GC is myself and enough cash to see me through the evening. Cards, wallets, large sums etc, all stay at home.

Usually, they just ask for the copy of your confirmation email and check your name and address and thats it.

to be fair, a couple of weekends ago we were on our way down to storm saying how they never check your card. then when we got there they asked to see the card!

Like I say most people don't take cards etc to this type of event. Sounds like you were very lucky you decided to.

I've never taken anything other than cash downtown anytime in over 20 years of clubbing. I don't carry ID or anything. Why should I, I'm lucky :) enough to look over 18 and what I can't buy in cash ain't worth buying.

i have a habit of losing my bank card im on card number 14 with my bank i also lose phones and money now i try to be a bit more careful

They asked to see mine at storm but i memorised the number ages ago. they were happy with that.

Wow I thought issue number 5 was bad!

it does say when u order e-tickets though to bring id..so its best to just incase i always take my visa electron card so it doesnt matter too much if it gets lost :)
