In case you weren’t there till the end / when the winners were announced, the 3 DJ’s going through to the following round to be held on the 22nd July were (in no particular order) Little Jo, Andy Boph, and Amy Taylor. Well done guys we will see you in the next round!

If I can just add that all the DJ’s on the night played outstanding sets, the competition was always going to be good, and it was a very difficult decision for the judges as only a few points separated them all.

BUT for the DJ’s that didn’t make it through there is still a chance that you might make it through to play in the final. There will be online voting taking place on DSI, this together with your score on the night could push you thru to the final as a wild card!

Voting will be set up on DSI soon, in the HotBox group , so get your buddies involved!

All the DJ’s mixes will also be uploaded onto the web for people to download, thanks to the MC and judge the Evil Hood. Details of where you can do this will be announced soon!

Thanks for all that came, all the DJ that took part and everyone else that made this event such a success! Looking forward to seeing you all in the next round on the 22nd July where the winners will be playing showcase sets, as they set the standard for the rest of the competition!

I have to say I was really impressed by the standard of DJ'ing. I can honestly say every DJ that played is more than capable of playing a peak set at a club night no problem. The music on Sunday was better than a lot of the sets I have heard at london club nights recently. Well done all the DJ's

And I also have to admit that if I entered the comp I really don't think I'd have came in the top 3. Seeing everyone play has made me realise what a lazy bastard I have became technically :-) - might even give me the kick up the arse I need to learn a few new tricks!
