Steve was such a great guy and had such a huge talent as a dj,it breaks my heart to be writing this msg up on here about one of my close friends.

Its not my place to put up in public how steve passed away so please don't ask,im putting this thread up for ppl to remember him as i know alot of ppl was very fond of steve as a dj and a friend.
Steve inspired my djing and i thank him for that immensely,he was such a fun guy to be around when u got to know him and i will always remember the great times i had with him..

U WILL BE TRULY MISSED MY FRIEND AND MY THOUGHTS ARE OF U AND YOUR FAMILY..

Steve will be smiling on us all over this. He is being missed so much.

"Everyone involved in this event is very saddened that Steve O Brady will not be with us on Sunday. He was the life and soul of our parties every time he played and someone we will never forget

We will hold a minutes silence and then Steve's good friend Kevsey will play a special set in honour of Steve at the time Steve was due to play. This will be all the Bouncy tunes Steve loved so much and will start with his memorable remix of TDV's 'I Don't Care'.

Loz has also very kindly organised a book of condolences which we will hold at the cashier's desk for people to sign. Kevsey will then pass this on to his Father and Family. I know that many of the DJs will also be dedicating their sets to Steve.

Don't quite now what to say. First met Steve last year and have been talking since then. An amazing guy with a personality and laugh that was infectious. Very shocked here, and unbelievably sad! Will miss you Steve!

A legend leaves us, and there is a saddening loss within the community (again!).

Steve was an amazing DJ and I respected him for his ability to read a crowd and always play an amazing set, which everyone could get up and dance to. His talent was immense and I am saddened I will never see him play out again.

Although I will be unable to make this weekends event, I have a few mixes done by Steve, which I will give some serious volume to over the weekend and remember him fondly, especially the Parlez-Vous mix I have, which is amazing and one of my favourite hardhouse mixes ever!!!!!

I am truly saddened by this news and I know where ever Steve is now, he will definitely be showing them all how it’s done properly.

As I Said Earlier In this post I personally didn’t know Steve, But Had seen his names on a lot of line up’s this guy was obviously some one to check out. I thought I’d check out what he was all about. So off I popped on to you tube to look. Now I can assure you I feel I have missed out on seeing some raw talent. It’s obvious from this post he was very popular and a very nice chap. R.I.P Mate.

Steve's family wanted to let everyone know that his funeral will be held at 9.30am on Thursday 29th May at York Crematorium, Bishopsthorpe Road, York, Yorkshire, YO23 2QD.

Anyone is welcome to come along and pay their last respects to Steve.
