It captures the light really nicely, but you do with bringing the contrast up and taking out the red-eye in an editing package.

get photoshop cs3 you can work wonders with your photos on their :)

or lightroom 2 :)

i found that more confusing then photoshop.

found photoshop more confusing than lightroom. All depends what you are happiest using :)

i prefer lightroom but all depends on what you like. Some people like to just use lightroom, some just ps some use conbination of the 2.

Me personally like lightroom.

How about working dual screen. Lightroom to the left, CS3 to the right.. Once you're done in lightroom just drag it across... yerrrr be futrrrrckin coool

i find i can do thing on both, that i cant work out how to do on the other. if im spendin time on a pic. i will start on photoshop then just finish it off in lightroom.

is there a way to embed a photo without uploading it to dsi??

but darken blacks is the tool i use on lightroom, dunno how to do it on photoshop, obvioulsy contrast but it changes it differently.

i never edit so dont know what your all on about perfect lighting and composer all you need ;)

1 way. Image-adjustments-selective colour- choose black in drop down box and up the %.

The best way if you want to improve the contrast is to manually dodge/burn (on a low %).

Or curves.. but I don't use them so you'd have to ask someone else.. definitely the quickest way.. I just prefer doing it manually.

You really got to start editing. Even just setting up a batch command so you only click a few buttons..

If you were using film how would people see your photos? You'd need to develop them in a darkroom. Photoshop is a digital darkroom.
