Some lengthly reviews there mind! Aye it was a brilliant day- il not go on about Base and Enigma too much as this is the Tweakin thread (but they were class- big thanks to Doog n Jern for brilliant sets lol).

I thought WHQ was busy but nowhere near as rammed as the Easter Soiree, didnt even get knocked n bumped into that much far as i remember. Atmosphere was awesome n CVS was amazing- never even came close to gettin bored n couldnt leave the dancefloor from the moment i got on it as i didnt want to miss a single tune!!

Things other ppl have mentioned:
- too busy = no i dont think so, however i was fairly drunk lol
-doormen = i always think the WHQ doorman are quality, so polite n friendly iv never had any bother with then at all
- soundsystem = aye a very noticable massive improvement from the Soiree night. No ringing or deafness the next day at all this time.

All in all a brilliant day n night- mass thanks to all involved esp Doog n Trip, Scooby Scott n the Dig lot, Brett for taxi-ing, and everyone who made it an awesome night :) Cheers everyone!

PS. My favourite was definitely the beach trip for the sunrise, haha mental

the doorman my Gem was talking about sorta told her to go away, she was only asking for a ticket from the event as we booked ours online and she likes to keep them... very arrogant...

yeah nowt wrong with wanting the ticket.. but from the doormans angle she could of got a ticket.. went outside for a ciggy and passed it to a "mate" and then hypothetical mate could have chanced their arm blagging in for nowt... shit like that happens all the time, people were trying to push them out the fenced off area at carl cox/digital when it wa ssold out the other week.. people even lick hand stamps given for smoking areas and "copy" them onto friends hands.. on busy nights they just walk past the doorman..

I still have some unsold tickets here from what I got back from RPM.. I will keep one/send one to you if you want?

yeah what I should have done was ask the doorman for a used ticket and then when he was distracted popped in my extremely large gold chav earrings, done a kung fu kick in the air and grabbed the 6ft4 beast in one of my strenous headlocks and slapped his baldy head with my email confirmation of purchase x2!

its ok about a ticket as in truth i didnt really attend the event....Scott has emailed me and more than made up for Sunday night. I hear what ya saying Scoobz am not going to whinge too much afterall without yee I wouldnt have played with Zabs hair!

Im not saying your winging.. ! .. feel free to say what you want.

you would be suprised at how many schemes people will try and pull to get into a club when its got a big queue or sold out.. not saying thats what you do haha :) .. but the doorman wouldn't know this!.. Its not chavs.. just people who dont want to queue or just want to blag in.

It's cool to hear your opinion, like didd said its what the boards are about.... just giving another view on things from doormans angle :)

can i just say.. i totally didn't express properly what i was tryin to say last nite about shindig + 'big names' (blame end of the weekend syndrome... :)

all i really want to get across here is that i believe there needs to be some respect within this whole enterprise for everyone's needs... from the guys that are earnin their living from it by putting it all on/promoting it/djing at it/ keeping it secure, to the people that are there for the experience... because without that, the circle cannot be complete.

At the end of the day, for me, it's about mutual respect.

and it's about the music - dance music.. which is for dancing to - if we choose to + if we have space to.

going to keep getting the names??

thats what we have done for 16 years.. certainly not going to change that

and so back to this...

all i really want to say here is that this will inevitably pull crowds, but the crowds need to be accomodated..

sorry folks for taking 3 nites to make a point...
not firing on all cylindars it would seem... :)

where there's a will there's a way tho & i believe that the shindig spirit/ethos/integrity would never allow alienation of its core supporters cos the corporate machine has got too powerful.

that's all i've bin tryin to say here x
