New night in London, based at Canal 125 near Kings Cross.

We're looking for DJ's who play good house music, including:

- Funky
- Electro
- Progressive
- Tribal

We DON'T want the following:

- Minimal
- Tech
- Techno
- Fidget
- Bassline
- Hard House/Trance/Hardcore

Our first two parties have been fantastic, everyone has been well up for it and atmosphere has been electric. The party is held on the first Friday of every month.

Unfortunately we're not offering anything in the way of payment - the night is totally free and at the moment we're not earning a penny out of it. I realise that this is a bit rubbish, but I know that people enjoy playing out and so hope that (for now) that'll be enough for you.

If you'd like to come and play for us, bring a mix CD to the next event listed below. We won't be accepting mixes any other way, so please don't post any links to mixes on here. If you do that I'll assume that you're an idiot who can't read.

It's good to see someone not thinking of it as a chore, I've no doubt you'll come along, get pissed and have a good time.

I'll hopefully be coming down to check it out, and I'll be bringing a CD. I live 15 mins from Kings X and the fact thats its free entry means my non-house music friends will come as well, even if its for a few ales before heading elsewhere.

God damn! If Dig didn't clash with my regular night I'd come and give you a cd just for the entertainment this thread has given me!

Well i consider myself a beer expert!!!!!! (Or Vodka, or Rum)

And NO a pint of stella in one place is not the same as another......!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some places water down their beers etc, other dont clean the lines (thats the pipes for all you cretins) thus making a beer taste different from one place to another


Canal 125 is an awesome venue with multiple levels and funky cubby holes and random staircases....TOP SPOT ROB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If i had a CD i'd bring it down........F*** It - id probably be out and about anyhow.....why not!!!!!

Plus i tottally agree with the whole meet and greet and getting involved with the party......one of my pet hates is the DJs who turn up 10 mins before their set and F*** off straight away afterwards.....oh they probably just played the 10 tunes you going to play too....

I DJ to have a good time and a party myself......so why not have a beer and a waffle with the crwe involved........

It is all about Networking.......and yes the old fashioned way is heaps better.......!!!!!!!!! You might actually have a conversation rather than typing bollox on a chat thread!!!!!!!!

To any DJ's thinking about getting involved - Both Rob and D.A.V.E are top guys and i'd highly recommend getting involved with them!
