Yes, yes party people! It’s Friday, the weekend has almost landed and I’ve got an update for you all, including; all my plans for August, the latest progress on the new NEC site, the date of the next Freeformation plus another great mix for your listening pleasure!


I’m really looking forward to Global Gathering this weekend it’s going to be the first PA we’ve done in a while and K Complex and I have been in the studio all week preparing for it, I just hope the weather is going to hold out for us. We’ve just had a practice session with the awesome human beat box machine Bass6 so watch out!

The friendly Japanese rave scene is flying me out to Tokyo next week for ‘Energy Cocktails’ and to sample their local delicacy Manjya-Yaki. Honestly it looks like fried vomit but Teruaki the promoter promises it’s actually very tasty, we will see, its sure to be a mad, mad night!

Due to popular demand (haha) I’m going to be playing two sets at the Sanctuary Festival this year and I’m especially looking forward to mashin up the Hard Dance with Ed Real.

I’m taking the august bank holiday off the wheels of steel as one of my very good friends is getting married and we have a mad stag weekend planned for him. Nobody ask anything to challenging of me on Tuesday please!

After Freeformation rocked HTID In The Sun I’m especially looking forward to the Summer Reunion. I met some wicked people out in Spain plus the whole NEC crew will be there in force, not to mention me and Gammer are gonna absolutely smash it back to back, expect something very special!


Speaking of Freeformation, a lot of people have been asking about the next one and I can confirm for you that it will be on the 3rd October @ Hidden in Vauxhall. That’s all your getting for the moment though, more details, including the theme will be released very shortly.


The new NEC site is honestly just coming into the final stages of launch now, we’ve been bugged by problem after problem with this and I know it’s frustrated a lot of people including myself. But most importantly, you guys haven’t had a central base for all things Nu Energy. It will be ready soon, I promise!

FREE MIX:

I was down the west-country back in April for the Contagious event @ Club Ice and had a wicked night. It was made extra special for me by the long awaited return of Vinny The NEC Demon who put on a hell of a show despite his long running injury, and I threw down a mish mash of uplifting, dark, bouncy and driving Hard Dance tracks to rock the crowd to its full potential.

Sweeeetttt. Cant wait for the next freeformation, best rave about at the moment without a doubt man. Not got my global ticket yet but if funds allow i'll defo be going, last year's PA was awesome even though it was pissing it down! Plus it's time to buy the annual sombrero =D
