Right, I wanna learn how to scratch!

Anybody got any tips?

I know it's gonna be a fuck load of practice and patience, Just something I wanna have a pop at doing and throw it into a set when i'm confident enough to do it live.

theres a good dvd that teaches you , Q-Bert, its not hard music but shows you some excellent stuff.

alot of it is practice practise practise there was a video clip years ago sy did which gave the basics well it taught me !

Yeaaaah, Leigh Outrage pointed me to a couple of DJ Sy tutorial clips on YouTube which are well good, I was just havin' a practice last night just doin' it to some hiphop breaks, Just gotta keep on at it and not give up!

Spend time with your decks and develop your own style if your making different sounds than someone else thats good, try to feel it rather than thinking about what your doing, above all just be natural and don't be a stereotype. Everytime you make a new sound and you think you've made a mistake, you haven't keep developing that mistake until it sounds crisp.
