Fantastic event! Fair play to everyone involved for creating a great and very friendly atmosphere all around the site. My favourite Drop Beats so far :)

When's the next one?

hold up, we haven't finished breaking this one down yet LOL

I'm glad everyone had a great time. I went home at 9pm having finished helping to build the thing (been up since 5AM), had a shower and then passed out (doh!). Woke up at 6AM just in time to go back to work taking it all down again... ah well.

Well, lucky you!

Maybe you could bring yourself to make a more positive comment then bearing in mind you got in for free? I was more than happy to pay for two tickets and all my posse of 12 had a great time. Thanks again Dave and co, great atmosphere. When's the next one ;~

The whole thing was pretty goddamn good business. I think £22 is actually a realistic price for what we got, that much music across so many different rooms, Drop Beats is in fact a mini-festival, not just a big club-night.

Highlights:
Shitmat vs Shitnat: Fucking insane stupid mashcore/gabba genius, and they played some from Killa Babylon Kuts AND Full English Breakfast (my favourites). I danced like a proper twat. Lets have a Mashcore/Gabba night in brum!?

Ady Fenton: He doesn't ever fuck about, he goes straight in with the hard nosed, stamp-your-feet techno, kicking you in yer ears until you cry for your nan.

In the Breaks: BreakBeat Buddha kicked ass, how come he was on so early? There was a guy playing at about 2am who threw out a bunch of free CDs, he played some nice crowd pleasers including a mix of a NIN track, cheesy but fun. And the woman who was on from 4am onwards played a pretty cool set too. But where were the Lawgiverz, did I miss them?

it was a fuckin awesome night. the guy that threw the cd's out in the pool was autobots but the set of the night for had to be sunz of mecha feat profit on the mic. proper bassline breaks mixed with a bit of dubstep.

as for the people that are moaning about ticket price i really dont undertsand where your coming from. £20 for all that is fuckin cheap. there have been events ive been to that have been that price for 2 rooms. the only reason you are moaning about the price is because dave has never charged enough in the past and youve all got used to it but why should he keep losing money. the level of production in drop beats is fuckin awesome, the line ups are awesome and well thought about, you have every genre you want in one place inc live acts and food stalls and everything else you can fit into one event and people are moaning about £20. fuckin wake up or go back to broad street and cheese it up with the rest of um.
it seriously pisses me off.

rant over..............

big ups to the drop beats crew
