Monty's at 8:30 I think if anyone turns up pfft! Punchbowl is probably a well better idea because all us cybers won't get in anywhere else on Micklegate.

What an awesome night couldn't fault it, best night in York I have ever been to. It was packed out almost from the start and I couldn't stop raving all night even though I stayed more or less sober which believe me for me is the sign of a very good night. The first DJ looked a bit nervous but played some better stuff at the end. Gaz Walgate was on the button as usual got everyone going with his own breed of Hard Trance which was in fairness a lot harder than I thought it would be after it said uplifting Hard Trance in the write up (is there such a thing lol) nice one mate. Mark EG was amazing as usual thought he played a much better and slightly harder set than he has at any of Wayne's previous events maybe he's realised we like the filth just as much as the rest of them.
It was a rare treat to see Wayne play a Hardstyle set but he pulled it off beautifully I thought some of the tunes you played were fking superb mate at some points I thought it was Mark up there ;-). Like to see you play some of the Hard stuff more often Wayne! Scott Brown was quality I thought it might be a cheesy happy hardcore set but it was quality the mans a legend thought he was better than he was when I saw him at the Hardcore Weekender! That was a while ago like christ I thought I was about ready to go home when he came on been stomping far too hard but Scott produced another hour of absolute carnage on the dancefloor what a hero! Unfortunately I buggered off home at this point I had no energy left and cnt just stand around when I wanna bloody av it it makes me feel impotent. Pity because I know Chucky would have pulled off a blinder he's one of the people I mainly wanted to see as I've seen the rest in action before comments please people!

There is absolutely no reason that Ziggy's cannot be a really good venue for the 'real' dance music scene in York i.e not just pub and club cheese. It's testament to Wayne's hard work and effort that this night was such a success and the people who have helped him along the way. There were flyers up everywhere and I've never seen more than half of the people that came to that night before in my life. That's a lesson on how to promote an event in York and I can't wait until the next one.
