pag island and green beat fesitval - accomodation???

Desperately trying to go to the Green Beat festival at ZRCE beach on pag island this year. Can anyone please tell me where an earth you can get 'reasonably priced' accomodation from???

problems we have found are:

1. everywhere only wants you to stay saturday - saturday, but the festival runs thurs - sun.
2. there are only 2 of us, which makes apartments very expensive. We also can't find any hotels nearby (in novalja or Caska) that aren't 2*star and trying to charge us 350+ euro's each!!

anyone got any ideas? i can't imagine only the very wealthy are able to go to this island and party.
