Enchanted with music and seduced with art it will cast a spell on you, stop the time, leave it’s impression on you and give you a present you can take back to your reality.
The Porat club is the fascinating nature combined with the beauties of the civilization, the undisturbed peace in love with all-night fun. Calmness and dancing in one. Freedom. Beauty. Life.
The Porat club is the place for all of you who want to enjoy the beauties of life in an honest, unpretentious and genuine fashion. To feel the summer, the sun, the sea in whole of their beauty, as the main character of a love novel. To feel the summer and cherish it forever.

To dance under the sky full of stars being relaxed because nobody is watching. To wait until morning laughing, relaxed, content. To listen to music on the afternoon sun and to make your very first painting, with no ambitions to become famous or to be liked. To be yourself, without masks.
... to become in love with life.

Whoever you are – adults, businessmen, naive, fathers, grandmothers, curious, famous, too busy – we are all children in our hearts and that is why the Porat club is the place for all of us. While the sun is high and the want for playing strong maybe you will get the urge to join one of our creative workshops, or maybe you will watch some happy kid making it’s very first sculpture made of natural materials while you are drinking coffee under the parasol. Maybe on that very same day you could not wait the sun to go down and to start the afternoon warming up for the passionate evening, while the sweet flavour of anticipation shivers on your lips. Maybe you will decide to spend the night under the stars dancing.
Maybe you will run into the sea under moonlight in the middle of the night, laughing like a child. Maybe you will remember what it is like to be a teenager. A dreamer. A lover.
And the only important thing is...

... to be happy.

ABOUT THE PORAT CLUB ´08.

The Porat club is located on the uninhabited part of the coast, in the Porat cove near Pirovac, adjoining the Nature park Vransko jezero, but also near Vodice, Šibenik and Zadar.
The club consists of more than 9000 square meters of Mediterranean park with booths which are discretly lit by ambiental lights, by the stars and the moonlight. The visitors say that what makes the Porat club the most beautiful club in this part of Europe are it’s spacious lounge bar and huge dancefloor under the sky.

With it’s beautiful appearance, located in a pine-forest by the sea, the Porat club will fill with enthusiasm even the most demanding visitors – at first by it’s looks, and after with it’s program.
In the Porat club there is also Porart – a communicative, open and active art gallery, which offers the visitors carefully worked out and authentic programs and by doing it raises the Porat club on the whole new level – it stops being a club and becomes a natural surrounding of content and whole people, who truly enjoy in every moment.

The PORAT club’s daily rhythm

During the day the Porat club is an insolated oasis of laughter and joy, a place for swimming and sunbathing, a place for drinking the traditional afternoon coffee in the shades of fragrant pine trees, a place for relaxed Internet surfing laid back in cosy armchairs... Easy rhythm of summer afternoons is enriched with workshops for the children and the adults, worked out as a part of Porart art gallery activities and the “Uranjanje” (“Immersion”) project, as well as it is enriched with the spontaneous activities of the visitors.

The Porat club tries to preserve a concept of complete and total relaxing – in the nature, with nature. The art workshops enriching the summer afternoons are trying to awake the human and the natural part of your soul. The Porat club’s daily rhythm guarantees a complete relaxation of all of it’s visitors who decide to spend their summer afternoons in a romantic Mediterranean environment, surrounded with sophisticated music.

The visually distinct and musically recognizable Porat club is in the first place a place for fun, while it’s intelligent concept guarantees a complete and total relaxation. The natural concept of the club and it’s innovative program emphasises global trends interpreted from a Mediterranean perspective.

The only important thing is to relax completely, do the things you like and enjoy every moment of it. Some visitor said: “It’s up to you whether you want to see an exhibition, lay back in an armchair and have a cocktail, go to take a swim in the sea or find your peace in some secluded part of the surrounding forest, or will you enjoy the live house session on the dancefloor. The Porat club is a unique experience you shouldn’t miss,”.

The Porart art gallery: “Uranjanje”
(“Immersion”), 2008.

The Porart art gallery is an integral part of the Porat club. The programs for the 2008 season are based on the idea of the club as a “natural concept”: the surrounding where a man becomes a natural being.
The goal of the 2008 project called “Uranjanje” (“Immersion”) is to dignify contact with the visitors, to encourage mutual dialogue through creative workshops and to support the idea of an active gallery as a surrounding where visitor participates in the complete process of originating of work of art.

The entire park, as well as the club itself, are secundary exhibition areas, while the messages of art are being transmitted in a relaxed way, in an atmosphere of social contacts and in a synergy with other programs. The main idea of the “Uranjanje” (“Immersion”) project is a man as a natural being and his relationship with it’s environment. This idea is going to come to life through workshops, an exhibition, the theater of shadows and various projections.

The creative workshops are being held in the afternoons and they are grouped into those for the adults and the ones more appropriate to children. Only natural materials are being used: plants, hand-made paper, colours made out of plants... The hand-made paper workshop inform the attendants about the plant materials from the environment, ethno-art workshop shows the attendants long forgotten ways of using the natural fibers for plant yarn, while land-art workshop enables interventions in space for anyone, using only natural materials. The children workshops are “play-rooms in the open”, which will teach the children how to make mosaics and sculptures and make them familiar with natural textures and shapes – in short, to make them in love with life in all of it’s beauty.

This season Porart is going to stage a puppet-show called “Krotitelji oblaka” (“The Cloud Tamers”). It is a production held in the style of theatre of shadows and is intended for both the children and the adults. Sanja Vukman, the ideological originator of the “Uranjanje” (“Immersion”) project says: “The announced projections of Porart are partly also visual scenery of the club’s night program. The natural concept of the Porat club speaks in a unique, intimate and subtle fashion about Dalmatia...”
