Let DJ Tomasuchy take you on a journey. No, not one of those 5 hour prog-psy-trance musical journeys laced with illicit chemicals and more glow-stick light than the Vegas strip. I mean a get on a plane to another country type journey. The Republic Artists Tour is taking Tomas back to Czech! Not permanently; he will return to the UK. As of the time of writing this he wasn´t being deported (hard to believe isn´t it?). For one weekend in April (18th/19th/20th) you can catch Tomas in his natural habitat. DJ Tomasuchy (deejayus rockhousus tomasuchus) survives well in a dark environment needing very little natural light. Some UV or strobe will generally suffice. Co-existing with deckus ceedeejayus-technicksus and placed either in the corner or on a raised platform, Tomasuchy will thrive. Avoid using any natural fertilizer; recent studies suggest that Tomasuchy doesn´t like to take shit. Tomasuchy does however require vast quantities of liquid and will consume up to 4 times its own weight in beer if given the resources. When this happens it´s not uncommon for the Tomasuchy to attempt ´´cross-pollination´´ with other species. Remain cautious. Aside from witnessing this marvel of natural beauty, a visit to the Czech Republic is well worth the indignity of the Easyjet experience. Europe´s best and cheapest beer is reason enough on its own. Prague is unarguably one of Europe´s most beautiful cities, and best explored by foot. Czech people are friendly and down to earth (and personally, I think all Czech girls are gorgeous). Stylish & trendy bars that wouldn´t look out of place in New York or Paris dot the city with prices at a fraction of that in London. DJ Tomasuchy will be joined by enthusiastic DJs Sleazy-G ( dirtydubbin, republic artists) Alex Blanco ( republic artists ) Funky Paul ( republic artists, the poison ) Ivan M Sax ( republic artists, cafe del mar ) playing that energizing mix of house, electro & techno that has already given Republic Artists events the reputation of parties not to be missed. Saturday night they will play at Duplex, a multi-storey club on the top of a building that looks out over the famous Wenceslas Square and across the city. Make sure you get your name on the concession guest list for Duplex. Guys are 200 CZK (that´s less than 5 quid!) Girls are FREE (that´s also less than 5 quid).
