Mecca opened on the 26th of September 1998 by Roman Øezníèek, as a pleasant combination of music club, restaurant and cafe. From the beginning it has been one of the most popular places for Prague's night life as well as for various cultural and social events. In April 2000, Mecca started cooperating with the “head” of Prague's clubing scene, Jaroslav Krampol, and his production company Zep Tepi. The aim of this cooperation was to build Mecca as the one of the best music clubs in the world with first- class programs and perfect lunch and dinner service... and our idea came true. During the years, Mecca has welcomed many Czech and world-renowned DJs, singers and other stars .
