Café by day, bar by night, hip club later on when the sun goes down, Soda is many things to many people. With its chrome and metal tables, chairs and counter, the interior is sleek, clean and shiny, and works well with the light pouring in through the street-front windows on Annankatu.
Barmen mix up various martinis, Bellinis and tall-glass potions in the main bar, but once liquor takes hold it seems the DJs in the basement club draw in the crowds. Unless it’s got whiskey, vodka or brandy in it though, don’t order a soda.
