With a slight change of schedule this week, we have delayed Cari Lekebusch who will now be joining us the following show. In replacement, Clubbed Up will be hosting the official warm-up to one of the biggest nights in the midlands for January hosted by the awesome Ultra+ which is taking place at The Factory, Birmingham on Saturday 31st January.

Slam have played all around the world, championing UK underground electronic music, whilst always living and working in their home base of Glasgow, where they have helped to develop and influence one of the best music and party cities anywhere. Ask any of the bands and DJs who have performed at their monthly Pressure parties. People like Vitalic, Luciano, Beyer, Villalobos, Mills, Hawtin, Green Velvet and Weatherall all cite the city and the club as being amongst their favourite gigs in any year.

Their Soma label has been a huge force in techno, with their 200th release out last year and having featured such artists as Daft Punk, Funk D’Void, Ralph Lawson, Alex Smoke, Surgeon, John Tejada and so many more, earning vital reputation points amongst the entire techno world and firmly implanting them in the history books as pioneers of the scene.

As usual, your hosts Danny Roberts & James Burn will be providing a cool soundtrack in all things underground house and techno rhythms providing a life and unplanned showcase of the best tunes to buy and look out for in future stores

Clubbed Up’s new monthly event has been organised, booked, and now advertised! Free events at Sound Bar, Birmingham will take place from Saturday 28th February – For further information check out any one of our online pages.
