We only survived by stacking our boards up to create a wall to block the wind, if we were skiers we'd have died (only we wouldnt have been stuck off piste in the avalanche path in the worst blizzard we've seen in ten years, cos we'd have been toooooooooooooo scared! pook pook poooka!).
In the thirty seconds it took to get my glove off, camera out, take the photo, put it back then put my glove back on and my hand was nearly frozen. It wasnt actually a snow blizzard it was mini hailstones at 100kmh+
