Welcome to the whole spectrum of Electronic Dance Music! Loveparade fans from all over the world were allowed for the first time to vote for their favourite clubs and DJs for 35 of a total of 40 floats (five floats are reserved for media partners) by means of an online-voting with 420 international candidates. The result has been completed with the votes of a float- committee, therefore a variety of the most different styles will be represented on July 15th : House, Trance, Electro, Minimal, Drum `n` Bass, Techno and a lot more! The traditional procession of the 40 floats will be accompanied by further innovative variances: 10 so-called Underground_Talent Floors will support the creative basis of modern Dance Music and its young talents as permanently installed stages. So the youngest Loveparade – DJ ever will perform his magnificent gig: 13 year-old Sascha “The Rave Boy from Brühl near Heidelberg (of course in company of his father!) The musical program will be completed by a (also a novelty) live-stage for showcase- rocking and a Chill Out Area for relaxation. The traditional final event at the Siegessäule persists and the hippest DJs of the world and also newcomers will variantly hit the turntables. So we look forward to the stars of Electronic Dance Music like Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Westbam and Ricardo Villalobos as well as to the faces of go-getter like Ewan Pearson from England or DJ Onur Özer from Turkey.
