thought id chip in considering iv done a few love parades and 06 is but days away...i cant wait....done some clubbing too....stay away from the bigger gigs, there mostly half empty; find some small local gigs on www.techno.de...polar tv one small phat club springs to mind...Joey beltrammmmmmm playing) And MAKE SURE YOUR AT THE PARADE 20 MINS B4 THE START, THE BUILD UP TO 2PM IS PUTTING HAIRS ON THE BACK OF MY NECK NOW.....dont forget take plenty to drink..freeze water if u can...will last u all day in the blazing sun....and on the friday, get yourself some cold beers and walk the streets talking to people...you will get invited to/given all sorts of strange stuff but will b worth it(german speakers with more front than brighton well handy but not compulsory).

Other stuff like dont bother buying train tickets...love parade w/e is free...now thats a given n trust, u will find everything u require to make your weekend b a blast..

n if anyone about the brandenberg gate bout 1.30pm will try and be about (but i know our lot and well end up half way across town smashed to pieces and in a daze so no promises.....you know.

(((We also have a flat with spare spots to rent cheap right by Alexanderplatz if anyone can help mimimize our losses this trip...2 spare flights goin well cheap 2! (leavin fri mornin...would have 2b quick)

Wooooo we are in Berlin yay!!!!! Just spent the day at the beach, been to potsdamerplatz and Alexanderplatz, so much has changed....but it sure does feel great to be back!!! Its so hot here...parade day will be a scorcher!!!

Our flight gets in around 900 tomorrow night and we plan on dumping our bags at our hotel which is up around Jungferheide (oopps.. bad project managment on my behalf!) and then we'll head to E-werk!!

I read that Tiesto plays at midnight so we'll aim to be there for 11 ish

I just found this site and I'm a love parade virgen so its pretty helpful. I'm leaving for the love parade tomorrow with my friend. we'll try to meet up with you all, so add allison and rachel to the list.

I'm in Berlin. Wooohoo!!! Earlier tonight, I wondered aimlessly around Hackescher Markt and Alexanderplatz. There are a lot of bars all over the place but I feel weird going to a bar by myself. Eventually, I went to a club called H2O. It's okay club. I don't know where else to go. Where is e-werk? Maybe I'll go check it out tomorrow.

BTW, Park Inn Alexanderplatz is freak'n awesome. Room is kind of tiny but I love the ultra modern design. I am facing the radio tower from my 21th floor window. If I had gotten a higher floor, I may be able to see the parade. Doh!

Can't wait to see you all tomorrow! Woohoo!!! xxx

I finally got back home. I just want to say thank you all for a awesome time. I'll definitely hit you guys up if I go to London. And for those of you who took pictures, I want them. I'll post mine soon. My laptop died on the way back to the US but I should be able to extract the stuff from my hard drive at work. So stay tune.
