Hey Guys, sorry we didnt catch up with you all, went out the night before to some underground party that we heard about and then on to Polar.TV, cot to be arround 8am. Didnt get to the LoveParade till 4ish. Loved every minute of it tho!!! Floats 33 and 35 were particular favourites!

Went on to Club Maria afterwards where for me the line up was ace!!! The Youngsters absolutely rocked it! If anyonegets the chance i seriously recomend getting to maria, 3 mins walk from Ostbahnhof!

Can imaging that the beach party would have been mint! we were down there on friday and loved the chilled out vibe. We endded up staying at our camp site where there was a very similar all day chilled party goiing on and then back out! Back at work today - weak - whad a fucking awesome time!!!

its all been said really but as the rest, was good to meet up and 'random it up' for another great weekend. had a good time at all the thinghs we done. if i go back next year tho ill be finding somewhere different to go on the saturday, have over done lovebase and i reckon that ill be driving as well. make a trip of it with a few choice stops

Yeah I think we will prolly drive aswell...at least it won't be Nien danke anymore, wonder if we can get enough people to take a mini coach over?

I agree also about Lovebase...think I'd rather do LFA on the Friday....def gonna go for 5 days again as it was just long enough to chill out either end of the parade.

I agree 5 days was perfect especially if you know berlin. I took a few mates who had never been before and they wanted to see everything, not possible too much to do!

We stayed at a great little camp site called TentStation Urban Campsite (Only 50 euros for 5 days). Its right in the centre of town about 5 mins walk from whats now Hauptbahnhof. In the grounds of an old outdoor swimming pool with one pool having been filled with sand. On sunday they had a PA riged up and a group of 5 or 6 DJ's on rotation playing glitch, dub, ambiant and electronic and one playing a david holmes style funk set. I would definitely recomend it for those who dont mind roughing it a little and are on a tight budget.

Wow that sounds great fun...and 50 euros is well cheap. Will have to go check that out. Shame the pool wasn't filled with water though.

Sweet...we visited Plotzensee lake and beach on the Thursday...was lovely to swim in the lake. Had such a nice day.

Yeah, the berlin lakes are fantastic. I've never been to Plotzensee but was based by Wannsee while i was over for the football earlier in the summer. They're all man made, i believe partly with the intention that the Berlinners would not have to travel for Holidays. Less holiday time, happy workforces - more productive etc etc. All embroiiled in berlins terbulant history as well. Plotzensee has a prison that was the home to many significant execusion.

If you havent ever done it i would suggest a day spent down in Potsdam strolling arround the very attractive town and the park. Perfect place for a relaxing recovery from the night before!!

Yeah we looked at Wannsee..also Mugellsee...but chose Plotzensee coz it was closer. I think Berlins history is fascinating...there is always something new that I see each time I go. I've seen Potsdam and the Sanssouci Palace online but never visited...next time I definately will. The parks always look so clean and I love the outdoor swimming pools. Wish the UK had them.
