I am looking forward to Felix Kröcher (Hardtechno) and DJ Murphy should be even better....that guy is a natural talent...mixing on 4 decks! He usually plays Techno/Tribal Techno.
The rest of the DJs seem to be very Trance/House and Electro orientated....ah well therefore we have 40 floats all offering different music!!! Should be really great if the weather is as nice as it is at the moment!!!

I swear if it rains on LP day...I'm not gonna be happy...keep positive for sunshine!!!

It was raining in 2004 and 2003... Wasn't realy any problem for the croud.... I remember (just) 1 time it started raining in 2003 on the beats of Benni Bennassi - satisfaction.... Damn, i'll never forget that moment!

Well all I know is that I'm happy to have LP back. We can't moan about anything, I'm going back to Berlin to see all my friends and be over the moon with happiness!!

So has any forum member gathering been planned during LP weekend?

The Line up is a matter of taste I guess. I think it was time for a change...and change they did!
The idea is to also give not so much known DJs a chance to present themselves, off course that doesnt include the Line-Up for the Siegessäule, lol.
I would have been delighted to see Jeff Mills or Dave Angel, but with 40 floats and a roaring crowd I think there must be some trucks there that you like and after a few minutes of adrenaline pumping one really doesn´t give a toss which DJ is playing as long as the music is pumping!
My tip: Watch out for the U60311 float...the U60311 is a wicked underground club in Frankfurt, so there should be some hard beats coming from that float!!! But my absolute favorite must be this one: OSTFUNK BERLIN_DRESDEN --> featuring Joey Beltram and Takkyu Ishino. ACE!!!!

Hey thanks for those tips HHN like you say once the floats start up, you just get one big adrenalin rush, its going to be one hell of a party!!

Just one thing I would like to know...half the floats start from Ernst-Reuter Platz at 14:00 nd the other half starts from the Brandenburger Tor. So what happens when they get to the Siegessäule (Angel)??? Do the floats go round the circle and go back the way they came, or do they travel straight on? Why that is important? Because I wanna see all of the floats!!! And usually it is too busy standing near the Angel....so I wondered if the go back the way they came, then I only get to see half of the floats :-((

I know what you mean, this year I'm at the Angel early, coz I want to stay there all day if possible, bit of a pain if you need to go to the toilet though. I think they go round the Angel and go back the other way, although again am not sure. Plus they have the stages with DJ's playing so I'd like to go see them...there is so much to do this year!!

Indeed, so much to do! Almost sounds like hard work, lmao!
But you being a busy clubber for years should qualify you to get it all done, I´m sure, ha ha ha!
