Dance event voted „New Style Event“ 2008 by the public

A glamour night in the Color Line Arena in Hamburg: The LEA – Germany’s most respectable entertainment prize – rolls out the red carpet on the 26th of February. For the fourth time the German show industry celebrates the winners of the Live Entertainment Awards.

The category „New Style Event“ includes present-day event concepts with a mix of modern music, sports and fashion. “Sensation – The Ocean of White” was nominated by a jury and chosen winner through a public voting system. Sensation took the lead and was selected number one by far, over other events like the MTV Hip-Hop Open and T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds.

In 2008 over 700 events were visited by the LEA jury, which consists of renowned journalists and broadcasting experts. All events were judged by aspects like performance, atmosphere, production, and quality of the location and promotion campaign.
