The Summer Jam is the biggest Reggae event in Europe. All styles of todays Reggae-scene, Roots, Ragga, Dub, Jungle and whatever makes you feel Irie. The festival takes place right in the beginning of the "hottest" part of the German summer, at the Fühlinger See close to the city of Köln (Cologne). All the top-acts of the international Reggae scene have been playing at this huge happening since it began in 1986. Additionaly it is always part of the line-up to present bands from Africa or other parts of the world that demonstrate the Roots of Reggaemusic. Besides international superstars, German and European Reggae bands also get the chance to perform on the big stage.
