A lovely photograph - a favourite! You look very romantic, Elvenblood! And your hair colour goes very well with SquireGidder's jacket!

It's really a romantic photo *-* It's also one of my favourite.

My hair fits also to the small red lines on SquireGidder's trouser. And I have to congratulate you , Mr. Bowman, for the good composition of the "objects". It just looks better when the momument is slightly at the side of the picture and not in the middle behind the person. Well done !

It's easy to take a good photo when one has excellent subject matter! :) It's just a same that the clouds are so flat, a bit more depth in them would have added to the scene. But we can't have everything...!

Oh thanks for the flowers (ok I share them with Squire and the Monument).

On the one hand the sky helps to define and balance the structure and the clear lines of the picture. Perhaps a cloudy sky gives to much disturbance in the background.
On the other hand you are right, a bit more depth would be nice. Let's see what I can do with Photoshop...
( a stormy cloudy background gives the image real dramatic - perhaps we can sell it to the producers of "gone with the wind 2 " **laugh**)
