Yeah, thought so ... they just didn't want to know, even the "I've come over especially from the UK for this". Admittedly, this might have been the nail in the coffin ... some doormen aren't too keen on tourists.

Really hate to rub it in but RJ was amazing on the Friday night! Such a great little club with a wicked atmosphere!. The queuing did get a bit hectic at the start and I think it helped as we had a German native but we where at the bar for 1.30 am.

The craziness of the queue was well worth it for what awaited inside. It was nuts! For such a small room it has one of the best sound systems I've ever had the pleasure of listing to and was totally torn apart by click box who where by far the best on the night. I loved every aspect of the club form the balconies to the toilets where the toilet attendant encouraged us to share the cubicles!! It never seemed too busy as well for such a big queue outside.

The membership cards where blue/green. I had a conversation with one guy who had one but this was at the end of the night and cant remember for the life of me how he said he got it!!.

Had a great night in RJ, such a different experience to Cocoon...a lot more intimate. Will defiantly be going back. Have to check out U60311 on my next Frankfurt adventure.

Had amazing night. First time i been to Timewarp and one of best nights of my life. Have to agree with comments about Hawtin. I saw beginning of his set on You tube and it seemed much more flowing than his set later on (around 10.30 ish when we went to see him). The first part of Hawtin's set that we saw was really good. He even put new life into Yeke Yeke and made it sound awesome.

But Tainted love, complete with the Visual Pink Heart was dog shit, the set then went up and down with him fuckin around too much with the effects so you couldnt get into the groove for more than 10secs before another bloody breakdown. So we went to see Villaioos, who seemed ok, although not as good as his set at Berghain back in september. And then Villalobos played some 80s slow electro pop shite which was even worse than Tainted Love, so we went back to Hawtin again. Villalobos continued to play more shite till pretty m,uch the end of his set. Then we saw Barem who was superb.

The best djs of the night i think were Loco Dice, Carl Cox (those that slagged him off clearly didnt see him that night) and Monika Kruse. Carl Cox in particular played fast bangin techno. Thank god, cos last time i saw him he played a cheesy set to a Brighton crowd. This time, like his set at Heaven last year, he rocked. Monika Kruse is also superb. Someome needs to book her to play in the UK soon, Best female dj in the world in my opinion. What i saw of Sven Vath was also superb! Dave Clarke was bit too fast as usual. Josh wink played some techno and then acid house, was nice warm up set, but does he always have to play 'Higher stat of Consciousness'? Overall a truly amazing night! Thought there were far mre than 15000 people there, Seemed more like double the amount :-)

just about got my head straight now.....

my first timewarp and it was easily the best event i have ever been to. didn't know what to expect. i thought it was gonna be a big arena with floors on top on each other, how wrong. the layout was brilliant. the sound systems amazing and the lights just blew me away. next year can't come soon enough.

spent most of my time in room 3, where the visuals just raped my mind.
highlights were....

Marco Carola, the man has got the groove on , just what every needed after the abysmal SIS.
Loco Dice, picked up from where marco left off.
Nick Curly, first time i'd seen him, very good
Mathew Jonson, deep and horrible and the lazers were immense.
Luciano. for me the best set of the night, the atmosphere was electric. even sven couldn't steal the show by doing 'aerobics' on the decks. truly awesome.

lowlights included....... magda...YAWN!!! SIS... stop blaming your laptop mate! he was getting things thrown at him.

but the lowlights are irrelevant because you can just walk accross to a different room and it's going off!

a proper party :-) ......... now to upload my videos to you tube

did anyone go to Cocoon on Friday night.....to say it was fucking appalling would be a great understatement. I didn't want to go there in the first place as id already been to the the club on 4 previous occassions and this particular nights line up did absolutly nothing for me but due to the fact id waited outside The Robert Johnson club for over an hour an a half with no sight of getting in it was last result seeing as it was near.
Ive being there for some amazing parties and line ups but on ...

Yeah i went to Cocoon. Fucking awful awful awful. We had one drink then left to go U60311 which was much much better. So all in all dropped about £100 on taxis in the first 2 hours in the country.

The crowd in Cocoon that night reminded be of the pics of Joey Porsche and his orange mates
