Colour concept "colours of rhythm"

Between the 24th and 31st of March 2007, the city Mannheim offers a meeting point for progressive electronic music and experimental media arts like previous years. A lot of well known stars and artists from the club culture will perform at TDK Time Warp in the Maimarkthalle, and further on there will be several innovative gatherings on different spots in Mannheim.
Since the year 1994 TDK Time Warp is a fundamental ingredient of the cultural diversity in the region, and as a result Time Warp is officially a member of the 400-years existence of the city Mannheim in 2007.

Blue: This is mainly about the main dance-event itself, “TDK Time Warp” in the Maimarkthalle in Mannheim.
More info blue.

Red: In cooperation with the Musikpark Mannheim there will be a versatile offer like workshops and seminars around the themes Music Management and Music Production. Participation is free of charge.
More info red.

Green: The emphasis of green lies primarily on film and video arts. To get an even closer link to “red” and “blue” with music in it’s core, the media arts part will centre on videos and films with a link to music.
More info green.

The idea of "colours of rhythm" is basically to present and to reflect the versatility of different rhythms as a creative whole. The TDK Time Warp program clarifies the boundaries between music, media arts and film. Enjoy!

Robert Henke will perfom together with his co-producer Torsten T++ Pröfrock who contributes remotely from the monolake studio in Berlin. "Atlantic Waves IV" is the latest incarnation of a realtime internet sequencing application, which allows two players to interact while being far away from each other. The musical score is represented as a highly abstract graphical structure and will be projected during the performance, allowing the audience to follow and understand the construction and deconstruction of the composition.
