Is actually quite cool to eat and drink at in the early evening.

In the middle of Frankfurt Main there is a brand new shopping centre which sounds absolutely amazing, none of you're run of the mill Lakeside shit here. Proper mentalist German architecture, from what i understand it's very Cocoon'esque style wise as well (for those of you that have been there?)
I'm definitely checking it out on the Friday afternoon before hitting RJ in Offenbach and maybe the U60311 or monza club afterwards.. ...choices choices! :)

Went to U60311 and Monza last year before the big saturday.

U60311 was bonkers but Monza was nothing special tbh

i mean just nice/cool places to eat and drink in Frankfurt, normal places not places to go listen to music and fuck yourself up.

Yeah so ive heard, being meaning to get there for some years now. As much as i love Cocoon ive seriously overdone it in the past few years and the line up isn't anything that i'm not going to hear at TDK anyway. RJ was fun last year before the Green & Blue event in September plus the fact it's Magda and Marco Carola at the helm of that tiny little room should equate to a sick as fuck party.

will probably head down to RJ but heard tough to get in. Do you know what time it opens. From memory Frankfurt seemed to get going a bit earlier than Berlin and other places. what time do you normally get there or are you on the list?

Just get there early mate, we got there about 15 minutes before opening time (i think that was 12?? wouldn't swear on it though). Yeah ive heard plenty of admittance stories myself but we had absolutely no issues what so ever and there was about 10 of us in total.
Admitedly it wasn't a massive name line up that time round but it's such a wicked little place in the most bizarre area (housing estate!!)
Literally every single time ive being over to Germany ive spoken to locals and they always rate RJ as one of the best clubs in the country, simple because of the music policy and laid back crowd / vibe.

re Monza - it reminded me of places like the medicine bar a bit... it wasnt busy, wasnt going off and the crowd didnt really seem to know their stuff...

and i think it shuts early... so just like medicine bar then! i have been to EV but heard it hasnt changed much...

RJ - It's a horrendous scrum if you're there at the start with big names. They open late, so if it's wet ... Brrr! Personally never had a prob getting in, but they have turned people away. We hassled them to get on the G-list last year. Didn't do it this year. Mate wants to do Cocoon, then RJ ... I'm not too bothered about Cocoon, to be honest. As you said, nothing that ain't at TW
