Naaa - we banked on England coming second in the group so got tickets to Saturday's game. Really enjoyed the atmosphere in Munchen though - really friendly and fun.

Saw the England Ecuador match at the Munchen Fan Fest on the Sunday and flew back straight from there.

Didn't know that Germany had adopted Three Lions - check this out:

Do you know the music clip of "Three Lions" ? In the very end of the clip (most of the tv channels cut this part of) you see the germans football team singing it ( in a horrible english- german: itz kooming hom, itz kommming, futbolz koming hom) . This was 1990 when the germans won the world cup..and they are all standing on a balcony on munich's marienplatz with the trophy.

The Germans don't have a football song ( quite sad, I know), just some cheers like "berlin, berlin we're going to berlin" or "that is the way winners look like" and stuff like that.
