Well I guess for most of the year the park is used for dog walking, frisbee flinging, a game of jumpers down football, and the normal stuff that happens on your every day patch of grass. Then once a year, and for 3 weeks, all the breweries in Germany come along with some beer tents, which hold about 10000 people each. They all have fully working kitchens, have amazing decorations inside, and each comes complete with a band stand for the oompa lumpa bands! With roughly 15 of these tents, not to mention the massive fun fair, it's quite a party destination! http://www.oktoberfest.de/en
