What is Area 51 Entertainers?

For all members of Area 51 or experienced performers who are interested in getting involved...

Providing entertainment to clubs, festivals and corporate events all over the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

At Area 51 we are a daredevil team of entertainment superheroes!; designers, creators and performers on a quest to bring you the best selection of event services and raw talent this side of Alpha Centauri. We have our own workshop so we make and design all of our own costumes, if there is a particular theme/idea you have for a party we can build it for you in a jiffy!

Festivals are a major part of our summers; last year coordinating all of the entertainment for DOWNLOAD (including a 3hour cabaret show packed with 5000 people every night), WIRELESS, HYDE PARK CALLING, Serbia's EXIT festival, Spain's PARADISE festival and the BESTIVAL featuring 25 of us on stilts at the same time as a part of the famous fancy dress parade.

We've also performed on stage with the SCISSOR SISTERS at Exit, the Bestival, the charity concert in Trafalgar Square and the Halloween show at Brixton Academy which we built the whole stage set for.

This years BIG REUNION weekenders have been bigger than ever - not least because there's 2 of them! We've had some good fun with the movies theme and created some stunning film-inspired stage shows including a FROM DUSK TIL DAWN vampire audience attack, a huge KING KONG vs the gangsters from SIN CITY, a 12ft tall STAYPUFT MARSHMALLOW MAN. FRANKENSTEIN'S MONSTER makes a return with his brides, we have a brand new incredibly impressive flame shooting MECH WARRIOR ROBOT, there's a PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN show - complete with Cptn Jack Sparrow lookalike and army of skeletons plus our now classic ALIENS VS MARINES stage battles.

At the moment, life is quiet as it always is in spring, so its a good chance for us to sort ourselves out and give the unit a bit of a revamp - ready for the chaos to start all over again come may.
