I hope the new school is on point, because the old school will have some serious artillery on this one. :)

There are no new school dj's on this line up ..All the dj's on this line up are solid as fuck and been around a while will play some dope shit for sure...

I do however look around at some of the New Electro Dj's that come from out of state and they Have lost the art of mixing and making a well programmed set..They just go out and play tracks and smash em in at any given point of the playing track and in any random order...Most have no idea how to work a crowd and build a set..But I aint complaining that help me so keep doing what you doing new school..lol

Big up's to Sam on what I think will be his first REALLY BIG SMASHER SHOW. ..Keep up the good work with all the promo mang .

He's marketing this well and it's well thought-out. I hope it is very successful.

Mando, I guess it depends on how you define "new school." I have been doing this for 15 years or so, thus many DJs are new school to me. While I can relate to (and certainly appreciate) your points on DJs (newbies or not) not mixing or programming cohesively or artfully, the context of "new school" that I used was more about music. For instance, electro house and dubstep are rather new school genres (relatively speaking). Since the music has changed so much over the last 20 years, "old school" to me is more about experience and aesthetics.

I'm gonna play a fair amount of classic stuff. It's rare that I make any public pronouncements about how I'm gonna "rock the party" or anything, but I'm excited about this show and am especially looking forward to laying down a serious groove. You should swing by our stage and check it out if you're not entertained elsewhere. :)

Yeah, proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar are definitely "old school."
