The Official DSI Group for everything to do with the fantastic BCM Planet Dance. Feel free to post photos from your nights out in BCM, videos, comments on the DJ’s and your BCM Experience..........(Please Keep All Posts BCM related!! Now here’s some blurb on the club…………….. There are not many clubs around today that can boast that they have been around for as long as the people who frequent them. Over the years whilst many clubs and brands have risen to success only to then fall by the wayside, very few have stood the test of time. BCM in Majorca however is one club that proudly still stands strong after 20 years in the business. In addition to still attracting all the superstar DJ’s it did from day one, it also still manages to ram out seven nights a week all summer long and also hosts events throughout the winter months too!! Its fair to say that you could spend every night of your holiday in BCM and have a totally different experience each and every time such is the vastness of the club and the variety of DJ’s and nights that are on there. You only need to take a quick look back at the summer 2008 BCM itinery to see what we're harping on about. Monday nights at the club alternated between Judge Jules and Dave Pearce, both of whom have played at BCM for many years now and yet who still each managed record attendances this year. Erick Morillo also played at a one off Monday night Subliminal sessions event – a night which even some of the long time workers in Magaluf say is one of the best nights BCM has ever seen. Tuesdays were like a hotpot of musical genres with a mix of house and electro in association with Fashion TV, and later on trance courtesy of Woody Van Eyden and Alex Morph – again this was another hugely popular night at the club. Wednesday nights were hosted by Cream, and with DJ’s such as Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell, Ferry Corsten, Sander Van Doorn, Tall Paul and Nick Rafferty all making appearances you know that this was one of the main highlights of the week!! Thursdays saw the ever popular DJ Sammy and his Balearic Masters night take the helm. This guy has more energy than a crate of lucosade and he certainly managed to transmit every effervescent bubble of it into the crowd – every one of his nights were full to capacity and the atmosphere was always electric. Fridays were taken over by a friendly DJ tussle with male and female DJ’s going head to head for Angels of Funk vs Dirty Little Funkers. Resident DJ’s Vicky Devine and Paul Dunne banged out a mix of funky, electro and trance with guests including Slipmatt, John Kelly, and Amber D’Amore to name but a few. Fridays also saw the fantastic foam parties downstairs in Millennium – a huge part of BCM that we haven’t even mentioned yet and where a whole host of other crazy antics occur. As mentioned on Fridays the massive foam cannons came into action, but on other nights of the week you could also see Water Parties (BCM had enormous new water jets fitted this year) and popcorn parties too. Regular BCM DJ’s Jon Besant and Ian Redman (of Ultrabeat fame) were both involved in Saturday night festivities with various other guest DJ’s and live PA’s also, and Sundays was all about well known and respected club brand Miss Moneypennies rounding off the week with their trademark funky sounds. Don’t think it ended there though!!! Radio One were also back for their massive yearly weekend event and there were several other one off BCM events throughout summer 2008 which kept clubbers on their toes! Furthermore BCM has one of the best laser displays you’ll see at any club anywhere in the world, megatrons, free merchandise, gorgeous dancers, a newly installed restaurant on the third level, pool tables, and not forgetting the all important free bar!!!! BCM is truly a one stop shop for clubbing – it has literally got everything you could want and more when it comes to having a great night out. And there are certainly no plans for things to change either with huge plans afoot for next summer also (keep an eye out for the summer 2009 lineup and also one off winter events). Watch out for the BCM World Tour, the BCM UAP Winter Reunion and the all new BCM website coming soon.
