A quick note on P2P....
We do not condone the use of p2p software programs such as Limewire/Kazaa/Soulseek et al in order to download music for free on the internet.
The cost of using digital download stores is, on average, less than £1.50 per tune. So please, don't steal music if you can buy it elsewhere. Ultimately, the more you buy, the more money goes back into the industry and the longer this whole dance thing may surive.
However.....
Like a sex education talk when you're 14, some of you are going to go ahead and use p2p anyway. That's your choice. But if you are, like underage sex, please be careful. The CDJ Users group recommends the following free protection software;
AVG - Powerful anti virus suite. Performs daily update checks and also informs you of any time a program tries to access the internet.
Ad-Aware - Spot on Ad-Ware tracker, can also be set to run at regular intervals.
SpyBot - Search & Destroy - Spyware blocker. Used to take off the bits of code that nefarious web sites use to track you.
