I'm absolutely gutted to be breaking this news

The cotton club shut its doors for the last time at 8 o'clock last night and will be closed until further notice.

Please let people know.

I will be keeping this group going and will keep you all informed if anything changes.

I'm gonna fucking miss that place! :(

Wasnt exactly my fave venue.. but had some fuckin awesome times there clubbing and playing. Its never good when a decent underground-feel venue closes.
Was really looking forward to playing tomorrow night too, and feel for the people who work for / with the club.
A few places in Cardiff worth checking for the future tho..all is not dead!

really sorry to hear this :( had many a good time @ cotton club, just to be a regular @ atomic a couple of years ago aswell as other events there....

that place holds so many memories :) some good, some not so good, some fuckin amazin!! will miss the place, hopefully will re-open wen the world sorts itself out eh!!

what a shocking thing to happen.

absolutely gutted as its prob 1 of the best little venue's in the area and ive had some amazing times there.

RIP COTTON CLUB....you will be missed

Me and the B are gutted as fuck about this. And so will our neighbours be when we have twice as many parties at home now! Like Fatty we used to spend loads of time their and we're fuckin gutted for Micky and all the staff.

Think positive though, still plenty of places to go and avinitness to get on, Bionics still going and we can all save up for the bigger events and go to places like the Custard Factory etc

I can see me hititn Lakota a lot more now like!!! And no doubt there'll be an increase in Free parties, but Ill be saving them til the summer I think :s

Tomorrow nights Trauma ward takeover will now be held at escapade.

Im fucking devastated about this,the one decent club newport had and its fucking closed down.

I just hope it re-opens soon.

Such a shame like as the cotton club housed a lot of events that got booted out from venues in cardiff... i didnt really like the club but every event there was spot on and had all the south wales talent... where we gonna go now :|
