This group is for all the Gaz West a.k.a Dark by Design fans out there. We all love the KING of Hard Dance and under the alias of DbD, Gaz West, Avaline and Kain Marco his bangin’ tunes, remixes and collaborations have had us all stompin’ on a dance floor at some point!..In this group, each month we will be putting up all things related to Dark by Design (future dates, pics etc) so there’s no reason to miss out...

2008 has been another amazing year for the enigmatic Gaz West aka Dark By Design.
With a production schedule out shining the majority of his peers and the tag of the ‘best remixer & undoubtedly one of the biggest producers in Hard Dance/UK Hardstyle’ it is easy to see why his bookings are through the roof.
Gaz is booked in and has already played at some of the highest profile and best respected nights globally this year already including, Defqon1, Dancevalley, Insomnia 2008 in Vancouver, The Hard Dance Awards, Ministry Of Sound in Singapore, multiple tour dates in Australia, Tidy Weekender 15, Slammin’ Vinyl Festival to name but a few. With a full diary it can sometimes prove difficult to spend the adequate amount of time in the studio but Gaz manages to balance both brilliantly and to devastating effect with his new artists album ‘Heaven and Hell’ out November 2008 tipped to be as well received as the rest of his outstanding offerings. This album will be a new direction for Gaz and will show how he has grown as an artist encompassing a journey through the lighter side of hard dance and straight through to DBD’s recognised brutal ascent through his music.

Gaz's last release on DBD recordings was DbD & Dr Willis - Hell's bells with Insomniak on the flip also recently his remix of Masif Dj's - Insane was released on Masif as the sampler to the Masif Bootlegs 2008 album released over in Australia.Gaz and Phil York 's remix of Jason Cortez 'Set U Free' was released on the Tranzlation label

Future releases include...

‘DBD 10’ the milestone on Gaz's label, celebrates 10 solid releases on DBD records. This will incorporate a 2008 remix of 'Millenium Bitch' a past DBD anthem, as well as a new shranz influenced track 'Listen & learn'
Inundated with requests by other artists from the very top of the game, Gaz, alongside new production partner Phil York has been asked to pen down a remix for Lashed recordings of the new Lisa Lashes & Bk track called 'Has it Come To This'
He has also remixed the classic anthem saltwater for release on the Distinkt label over summer 2008
J'oy Energyser' the classic Joy Kitikonti track has had the DBD treatment coming out on his designed bootleg label which he has done mastered alongside Australian dynamic producer, Dr Willis.
Tidy's 'Inspiration for a harder generation' album which will feature a DBD remix of the Prodigy all time anthem ‘No Good’ Expect to be blown away by this production marvel, a hard paced, no nonsense DJ for a hard paced, no nonsense scene
