Canada's most famous Mau5, A.K.A Joel Zimmerman, has made quite a name and following for himself this year, so i think that he easily deserves a group for his impact on the Dance Music community! This guy has technical skills that you would not believe and a huge number of his productions are created through experimentation and pushing his equipment to its absolute limit. According to Beatport he is 2008's "Most influential, forward thinking and relevant person" and that's certainly something his peers seem to agree with as his tunes have been pushed heavily by the likes of Pete Tong, Tiesto, Carl Cox, Eric Prydz, David Guetta, Sander Kleinenberg, Eric Morillo, Nic Fancuilli and Sebastian Leger to name a few. His infectious sound has been taking over Dance Events with Dancefloor Destroyers such as his remix of Daft Punk's 'Harder, Faster' aswell as beasts such as 'Arguru', 'Faxing Berlin' and 'Hi Friend'. Be prepared for the lines of distinction between house, electro, trance and techno to get very, very blurry as Deadmau5 ignores the rules and blows more and more people away in the foreseable future, as he is an internationally acclaimed sort after live act, creating an unforgetable atmosphere through his glowing Mau5 head!
