Dear Dave (the self referrential one)
Dear Dave - would it be possible to get some kind of better thread labelling system. I just went into the DD archives to have a look for some classic threads - but as they all have the same name i was kinda vexed as to where to start

couldnt you come up with some kind of novelty thread labelling gimmick so that when people peruse the archive they might get an idea of what kinda shit they could be pulling out ?

Don't think I haven't thought about it!

Ideally, I'd like each thread to be entitled:

Dear Dave - Topic
e.g.
Dear Dave - How to get semen off my armchair?

so that I can tell:

[that it's a Dear Dave] - [So I can scan the titles as you mention above when looking as past posts]

But I don't want to enforce it and end up doing rule shit with it. It would just be nice.

I'll news this post just in case anyone else thinks it would be good.

PS Can you edit the subject line of your post to spell "referential" correctly? It would help with seearching the archives. Thanks.
Dear Dave - Topic

my method.

I hadn't ever really paid attention to who did what kind of subject line.

Wowzer and JacK are quite easy to tell though.

I look to see who started the thread. If their first initial is higher than, say V for example then chances are it's not worth a second look ;-)

"higher" than V? That's an odd terminology to apply to letters. However, assuming you mean what you probably do mean:

WAYNE-ELDRIDGE-PR
WideEyezRyz-CS
Wilbs-da-Wreckhead
wo0
wondergirl-sca
Wotsi
WoWzEr
x-Lanie-Q-x
xNatz
xqualityx
XSexyXShellX
Xx-CharMar-xX
XXL
Yasmin-C
yInter-TimmyMark
youngmanoldman
ZoeK-BOA-TBJ

The scary thing is I don't know who most of these are!

Further up the alphabet than V. Is that better? :-)

I recognise only three of those names and you can strike Wo0 from the list as she rocks.
