Dear Dave - Tattoo
Dear Dave,

Tomorrow's my birthday and to mark the occasion I'm thinking of finally getting my first tattoo. I've spent years trying psyching myself to getting one and figuring out what I want to get, and now I need to find somewhere reputable to get it done.

Can you recommend a good salon to go to? I'm going to be in London to get it and don't mind how much it costs so paying over the odds isn't a problem as long as it's done well.

Also, I plan to go to Ibiza in months time - will it be healed fully and, do you know of any other tips to help it heal as being Irish I have stupidly sensitive skin?

Just saw this - load of shite if you ask me! My fellas step dad has tattoos on his head and face, from how he described it - there's no way you could fall asleep through that! And if he got the tattoo wrong - it's her own fault for going to someone who doesn't speak full english!

A 18 year old girl has been left marked like a 'freak' after falling asleep during a tattoo and waking up with 56 stars on her face.

Furious Kimberley Vlaminck said she only wanted three tiny stars needled on to her face but claims tattooist Rouslan Toumaniantz got the instructions wrong and ended up making her look like the Sky At Night.

Kimberley from Belgium sobbed: "I cannot go out on to the street, I am so embarrassed. I just look horrible, a bloody freak."

The teenager, who was left horrifically scarred, is now suing the ink artist for the £9,000 cost of correction surgery.

She added: "It's terrible for me.

"I think he didn't understand what I wanted. He spoke only fractured English and French, but I explicitly said in my native tongue, French, that I wanted three little stars only near my left eye."

Toumaniantz, 37, who runs a parlour called The Tattoo Box in Courtrai, denies her claim.

He said: "She was awake and looked into the mirror several times as the procedure was taking place. The trouble all started when she went home and her father and boyfriend threw a fit.

"They are saying things now like I doped her or hypnotised her. What rubbish. She asked for 56 stars and that's what she got."

But even then Kimberley, from Courtrai, has been told there is every chance that her skin will remain white where the stars were inked on in February this year.

She has launched a law suit against Toumiantz seeking damages and the money for the operation.

Toumaniantz was quizzed by police earlier this year but they decided it was a civil matter and that there was nothing they could do.

Toumiantz added: "If they really want the stars removed they have to use a laser device which I do not have because it is very expensive.

"I won't pay for the treatment. The only concession I would do is give a discount. If they are so dissatisfied they can only pay me 50 Euros because that is the cost of four stars."

Haha. I checked out loads of different styles and double made sure that it meant what it said it did. The guy who owns the place is fortunately from Iran.
