BIOGRAPHY

At just 25 years of age, Danny has already established himself as one of the most prolific DJ/Producers ever to crack the ‘East Anglian’ Club Scene.

After starting at a young age performing at local Youth Events, Illegal’s and the odd House Party, he was awarded his first residency with an ‘up and coming’ promotion called ‘Bo-ing’ in Norwich, in 2003, and soon won over the Norwich Hard Dance Fraternity.
In January 2004, Danny was headhunted for a ‘Pam’s Idol’ DJ competition, which put him up against some of the best Hard House/Hard Trance DJ’s in the region.

Danny took the competition and 1st prize in his stride as his raw flare for Djing and Entertaining plainly outshone all the other competitors.

His first ‘Big Club’ experience came as the result of the competition win when he played his first Pam’s House gig at Zest in Ipswich (formerly Club UK/Hollywood’s) and, after just 1 year on the Norwich scene, was gifted with the high profile Pam’s House ‘Exclusive’ residency of which he still boasts now, 3 years on.

Following his success at Pam’s, Danny got his second residency with Atomic, the longest running hard house night in Peterborough, where he has successfully brought in record numbers whenever he has headlined.

This certainly was a major turning point for Danny as since then he has featured all across East Anglia and further a field with various promotions such as Summit4 & E:volve – Birmingham, Beatsabangin – Ipswich, Tek-Nology – Cambridge/Lowestoft, Bosh & Stuff – Norwich, Charlys Angels – San Antonio, Ibiza .….the list goes on.

Danny’s career certainly became more fulfilled during 2007/2008 with more ‘Big Name’ Promotions calling for his name to grace their events, with none more high profile than when he was gifted the honour of playing for Tidy @ Es Paradis in Ibiza, and more recently, at Tidy Weekender 14 where his unique ability behind the decks clearly stood out.

It is with this springboard in Danny’s career that he has had the privilege of playing alongside some of the best DJ’s/Producers in the industry with the likes of Lisa Lashes, Rob Tissera, Andy Whitby, BK, Lisa Pinup, Proteus, Tidy Boys, Eddie Halliwell, Adam (Lab4), and Alex Kidd, to name but a few.

Danny’s production career began in a studio with ‘Tidy Trax’ Ben Kaye back in 2005 where ”Devils Work” was completed after just 1 day and was subsequently signed by Yeah Right Records. His first ever production “Revolution 909” made it to No.1 on Tidy Digital and was regularly played out by the likes of the Tidy Boys, Lisa Pinup, Kevin Energy and Shaun M.
After a short break to concentrate on his Djing, he is now currently back in the studio with Ben, putting together another ‘no doubt’ masterpiece that will hopefully be released later in the year.

Danny is not, however, just your average DJ. His style would be described as “Hard” but he doesn’t just stick to a ‘heads down’ approach of mixing, but regularly thrives on giving the crowd a show with his crazy, outrageous and energetic antics behind and in front of the decks along with entertaining the clubbers’ ears with his ability to create his very own bootlegs at any given point in his set.

It is widely accepted that this 24 year old will soon be a big name in the dance music scene.

As well as the many residencies and guest appearances, Danny is involved in his own promotion event, ‘Treatment’.
This little venture was setup a few years ago by himself and his Fiancée Clair, but it was soon short lived when he was handed the Pam’s residency and his time and commitment to the promotion became virtually impossible.
However, towards the end of 2007 with the help and dedication of a few of his closest friends, Danny and Clair have resurrected their venture and Treatment has quickly taken hold and is set to become one of the most successful ‘small club’ events to hit Norwich with its current bi-monthly appearances.
