Welcome to the DJ mixes group started 24/08/05.

The group is here for you to post links to DJ mixes so that people can listen to them while they surf or simply download them. You're also welcome to post links to your favourite DJs' mixes.

Group Rules ...

This a very busy group; as a result, these rules are in place to make life easier for its members.

Please try to add ID3 tags to your mix to show the artist name, mix title, etc, as it makes it easier for those downloading the mix to know who created it. If you don't, you might not get as much feedback in the forums. This isn't mandatory, but it will help you in the long run.

If you've taken the time to listen to a mix, please provide constructive feedback.

If you're looking for a particular mix, from a festival or event, feel free to start a thread; however, you'll be allowed a few days for someone to post a link.

Spam e.g. just promoting events with no mix, etc, are not tolerated and will be deleted - offenders may be banned. A post must include a mix (to download free, not for sale). Please don't advertise your tracks or DJ competitions here. Please don't post multiple threads for the same mix, this is considered to be SPAMMING.

Please DO NOT post instructions on how to rip streams from internet radio stations, as this can be deemed as an invitation to a criminal offence. This also applies to commercially available mix CDs, etc.

Irrelevant threads clog up in-boxes, so please consider whether they conform to the rules. If you want to discuss aspects of DJing/clubbing, the DJ World group might more appropriate. If you're looking for DJs to play at your night/radio show, try the groups below.

Hijacking threads will not be tolerated and may result in a ban. Please PM Kelvin.

Please try to be nice to each other, or at least personable! We all use this group with the common aim of enjoying music, so let's keep it as friendly as possible. If you've got a beef with someone, or are spoiling for a fight, please take it off public chat ...

Any threads that do not follow these simple rules will either be suspended or deleted ASAP. Please PM Kelvin if you want to discuss any action, with a link to the thread in question, if suspended.

Posting to DJ Mixes & how to link ...

- Start a new thread on the group chat board
- In the Subject: detail the mix, e.g. GENRE - DJ Name - Name of Mix
- In the Your comment: section, provide details about the mix (e.g. tracklist).
- Feel free to include a biography of the DJ (or you, if it's your mix)
- Don't forget to add a link to the mix! ;oP
- <--- click the pic for instructions on how to create links (to mixes/email/etc).
