With recent remix releases for the likes of Mark Ronson, Deadmau5 and Fenech Soler, the Plump DJs continue to be the avid pioneers of diverse electronic music they were when they first cut their teeth in the late 1990s. Heading up the new Grand Hotel imprint, their bass strong, drum heavy collaborations with the scene’s most promising protégés have seen airplay from the likes of Carl Cox, Crookers, Zinc and Annie Nightingale. Bringing everything from bassline, wonky and hard edged house to uncompromising electro smashers to your ears and dancing feet, the Plumps are set to play at Soundcontrol in Manchester this Saturday and XOYO in London next Saturday.
