but it's not mixed by the nights residents is it, so it's still false advertising if you try and pass it off as your own

this is fuckin digraceful!! a demo is ment to show your indiviual talent, from mixing style to fx etc just because you have chose the tracks doesnt make its acceptable to send to clubs as your own work!!

I cant belive anyone would offer this service, and secondly, anyone who chooses to use this serive is a cheat to themselves.

... and we wonder why the dance music scene isnt what it used to be.

Eh, am I missing the point here?

I thought the point of a demo CD was you mixed it yourself to be YOUR demo, to show what YOU could do............ not someone else?

Wouldn't this be better marketed as........ Wanna pretend to be a DJ so you can look cool to your mates and pretend you did the mix?

Don't need to PM, the prices are on their original post.

£100 for a 74 minute CD I could do myself seems like a bargain.

i can't believe there's more than 1 person in the world that thinks this a good idea, let alone a viable business venture!

i dont think i'd expect a live mix if it was a promo of A night. Like no one expects defected or renaisance CDs to be mixed live. Just an idea of what sort of music it is.

If it had "mixed by" or "live mix" on it, i would be quite upset and feel violated

not defending the idea tho of getting someone to do your mixes for you, on a computer which is a whole seperate issue of filth

Actually thinking about it I did a gig about a year ago and one of the people behind the decks pretending actually played a MOS compilation, he was the smart one, didnt waste his money on getting a demo done, just paid £9.99 at Asda!
