Im working on doing a drum and bass event in germany on Oldenburg to be exact up in the north near Bremen in october.

Were going to be doing it in collaboration with a group of german djs and mcs as well to make it more appealing to locals who are not likely to know a group of 'unknown english djs'. Now i know the english djs im gonna take can mix fine but after downloading a couple of the german djs sets the style of dnb they seem to play is more liquid than i was expecting especially for a club. A lot of our djs are more jump up / wobble and its got me slightly worried as i dont know how flexible my djs are to playing a different style there used to

If anyone has first hand experience of playing out in germany and has an idea of the styles of dnb that are played out there (my thoughts were along the lines of darker dnb in general but with more jump up in clubs). If anyone can give me some advice then it would be appreciated

there are only a handful of DnB LEGENDS that can get away with that shit, Andy-C, Hype, Friction etc. they can do this because they've achieved the Superstardom kind of status within are chosen genre. As many people pay to SEE them, as thos ethat pay to HEAR what they're gopnna play.
