I logged on today as usual and noticed that my black camera, that I was so proud to be the first person in the USA to have one, was missing. I was shocked, offended, confused, sad, pissed... you name it! Now, I am not sure what happened while I was taking my break from the scene to work on my degree, being in the hospital for a Traumatic Brain Injury, walking on a cane cause my back gave out... but it would be nice if someone let me know that something like this is going to happen before hand so that I dont log on and just stumble across the absence of an icon I worked so hard for!

I took your Pro status off. I left it on there for a long time, even though you hadn't post any picture, then I saw you post this...


So I took your Pro status down.
Pro Spotter status is give to our best DSI photographers that actively use the site to post their night life pictures, as you're no longer uploading photos to this site, then there no need for the badge.

Sissko, a few months ago we decided to reduce the pro spotter team down to those that are still active.

Your comment could almost be taken as good as a resignation to be honest, so I don't think Fabe has been out of order.

No-one can knock the quality of your pictures, otherwise you'd have nver been a pro. We have also taken care of the Mixmag situation, and your photo's would be credited when used. However you can set yourself up to choose not to let Mixmag use your pics without consent if you wish, and we will honor this.

If you would like to continue as before, and can upload reguilar galleries, we'll be happy to re-instate your pro status.

Im doing alot better now... I was a mess for the longest time. Jucebox will tell ya. I really just didnt want to be seen in the condition I was in. All is well now and I am back on track. School was is still a top priority for me. I know thats all these kids out here care about it raving and what not, but you need money to go to raves and I would like to make alot more money, therefore another degree in a field I actually like is underway.

Fabe, as for my comment, I made a quick choice and really didnt read into the whole situation before choosing my words. You of all people know my support and contributions to DSI. It was just that alot had changed and people were telling me that my images were popping up in MixMag, and I had not heard anything about the use of the images. I dont mind the fact that they are using my images, that looks better on me if anything :)


Feel free to throw it back on there. Thump in December is being thrown by Matthew Harris and myself so you can bet your ass there will be plenty of images! I apologize to the DSI staff if my comment had come off as disrespectful. No harm intended. Now that I know they will be crediting me for the images used, the only thing I ask for is a direct link to the page with the image for my personal portfolio use.
