Compact camera advice?

Hi all, I'm in the market for a compact to take out with me - can't be arsed lugging round a DSLR - and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations? I want something that has a quick warmup time, takes good dark pictures and I'm not so concerned about high megapixies.

All help appreciated!
