I swapped the sigma 10-20 for the Canon 10-22 EF-S, its much better!
if you have the dosh, go for the canon!

Theres a few good fisheyes zooms available, tamron are worth alook too.

See if your local camera shop has any in stock, so you can try them on your body to see if you like the distortion effects, different for each lens. Prime (fixed focal length) lenses are worth a look too. They are better in lowlight or for shallow DOF than a zoom, and control distortion better.

I just bought a sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 and it works great, hopefully i'll have an opportunity to use it out on the town and get some pics up on here.

Not noticing the softness problem people are having at 10mm, good all rounder for landscapes and group shots. If you're on a budget like i am, get it!

I got mine from London Camera Exchange, (lcegroup.com) for £390, 77mm Hoya Pro-1 UV filter thrown in for free. :) Couldn't find anywhere else as cheap as that in store..

i love it :)

Only using it on a crop cam but love the range on the crop with it.

Did not like going back to the kit lens while mine was in the shop ( only there for a day thankfully )

It and my 8mm fish are my standard lens for night/club work.

The kit lens just gathers dust and the 30mm f1.4 normally just for outdoor festival stuff.
