Radical change. First impressions, I love it!

not feeling the new dsi, dark and different colours needed.

But realy what was wrong with the old one? Now it looks boring and doesn`t look like a website about clubbing at all!!

Makes face book look good!!

Yeah!! Stylish and sexy new DSI!!
Its much easier on the eye, and photos stand out more!

A few chavs might hate it and leave DSI in search for something luminous green..... oh well not bothered

Loving the simpler layout and more futuristic colour scheme.

Only thing it really needs is some shadows on the left and right side of the website to show the edges.

its loads faster , a lot of the crap from the old site has been done away with .

the yellow site used to be really slow and used to do my head in sometimes ,

another reason for the minimal look is that a lot of people use mobiles to log on.

the yellow site used to take forever and this site will help people who may not have access to a pc use the site .

This is what it is though, or at least was, and surely this was partly the appeal for some people?

As much as i hate them, the hardcore massive and similar hard dance fans make up a fairly large part of this website do they not?

One look at the home page and they will go running to Facebook.

I know on the face of things this is a good thing, but surely the whole point of this revamp is too attract more people and not make it seem like it is a website for elitist minimal house fans.

I've always stuck with DSI and have only gone on Facebook when i've had an email saying someone had tagged me or wrote on my wall. I've never been that bothered really and have always thought that despite its imperfections, DSI was far better.

It makes me want to cry, but i think i'll be bothering with Facebook more now :-(

I was thinking that. It's basically got a Facebook theme. Instead of the FB blue and white, it's grey and white without the borders.

because there are more and more people with mobile phones that use the internet.

network speeds in this country slow and the yellow site with all the crap on it was a bitch to load.

this site is going to load a lot faster and all the people who have not got access to a pc can use the site on the bus , break at work,in the pub and check there msg's just like facebook and twitter.

why do you think those sites are so popular.......because they are minimal.

exactly... now are they trying to do this so people think they are on facebook, or to lure people from facebook....? if theres any difference..

Yes the site had problems, and a revamp was much needed, and i do agree the site looks a lot sleeker and up to date. But ion first impressions i can't help but feel this change will exclude more people...

Isn't there a Facebook DSI application and a DSI application for your phone or something?

facebook is nothing like this site , only that they both have white backgrounds.

there must be millions of sites with white backgrounds but they have all not gone under because of facebook

facebook cannot offer what DSI has to offer and that is everyone who is a member on here is into dance music and going out.
